Lots of Ideas for FREE Family Fun in Franklin!!

Movies in the Park! (Pinkerton)  A Veggies Tale Premier, "Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Noah's Umbrella" will be shown at dark (around 8pm).  Come early for some pre-movie fun!  You can find more information as well as another movie showing HERE.

Fire Station Tour- Get a group together and set up a tour time with your local station.  Its free and a blast for the kids!  (thanks Susie!)

Lowe's Build and Learn (Mallory Lane)- 2nd and 4th Saturdays at 10am in the Lumber department.  Get there about 10 minutes early to ensure that you get your apron, goggles and tools before they run out.  Tomorrow, 7/11 will be a Treasure Chest and 7/25 will be a Helicopter!

Home Depot Kid's Workshop (Royal Oaks, not sure about other locations)- 1st Saturday of the month, 9am-12pm- Come anytime between those times, but make sure you have enough time to finish your project by noon.  Home Depot is our favorite... the projects are a little more sturdy :)  Last time we made picnic caddies... the guy I spoke with at the store wasn't sure what the next project will be.

Farmer's Market @ The Factory in Franklin- Every Saturday from May-October, 8am-1pm.  There is usually live music, samples and of course the opportunity to support our local farms... Fun for the whole family!  Check out their website HERE for more information and great tips on how to take care of that produce so that it lasts you through the winter.
