Well, I had wanted to feature a particular ministry this week, but I emailed them late in the week and haven't heard back yet soooooooo... we'll just go a different direction!
If you have shopped at Aldi, you know you have to put a quarter in the cart as a deposit that you get back when you return the cart. The other day, there was an older man standing by his cart there in his cute little overalls ready to do his shopping, but he had about 3 more quarters in his hand and was handing the carts out to the next few people that came by. I was one of them. That gift was so small, but it made a big impact on me! It reminds me of the story of the widow's mite.. she gave all she had, and in the eyes of onlookers it was very small and insignificant, but in God's eyes it was HUGE!!
Giving doesn't have to be a big thing... maybe its paying for the lady's starbucks behind you, returning a cart for a frazzled mom or elderly person, or baking cookies for a neighbor. Go for it and make a difference in someone's life this week!
