Wow, Monday already! Anybody out there do any meal planning last week? I'd love to hear what's on the menu for this week in your house. Meal planning is a crucial step in sticking with that budget, because it keeps you eating at home more. I did some calculations on what it would look like to just eat out a couple times a week and the numbers are astonishing! Challenge yourself to only eat at home this week and see how much you save!!
Monday: Chicken Tacos, homemade tortillas (I use oil instead of lard)
Wednesday: Turkey, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, salad
Thursday: Cheddar Stuffed Burgers (these were so yummy last week!), Homemade Buns, Pasta Salad
Friday: Homemade pizza, also taking the same dinner to a friend
(I try to have 1-2 veggies at each meal)
