Tuesday's Timesaver- Onions
So here's a quick timesaver tip! If you are someone that cooks with fresh onions, buy a couple bags when you find them on sale and chop them all at one time (use a food processor if you have one). Bag them in individual baggies (put those baggies in one big freezer) and toss them in the freezer. This way you can just grab a bag when you are cooking!
I like to do this with jalepeno peppers (for chili), green peppers, celery and carrots (for soup). It saves so much time with both prep and clean up when you are cooking to be able to pull from the freezer.
Do you chop and freeze something that wasn't on my list?
