Obviously its not Saturday anymore...I'm sorry this post is a little late this week!
I'm excited to share with you about an organization called Family-to-Family. It is a non-profit organization that connects families with more to families with less.
Family-to-Family has a program called Birthday Buddies where you basically fill a shoebox with the necessary items for a small birthday party. Things like cake mix, frosting, balloons, a small gift, etc. The great news is that even if you don't have a lot to give, many times there are coupons and deals for cake mix, etc so you could fill a shoebox for very little money. I can't wait to get started on this with our kids! I'd love to hear if you plan to do this with your family. What a great way to teach them about giving in a fun way!
