School Supply Round-Up

Monday's Meal Plan
This next week will be interesting since my sweet hubby will be out of town. The girls and I tend to just eat whatever will mess up my kitchen the least by pulling from the freezer when he is gone :)
Monday- Gyro wraps (chicken gyros wrapped in tortillas :)
Tuesday- Rice and chicken (the best recipe ever... I'll share it soon!)
Wednesday- Homemade Pizza
Thursday- Cheeseburgers (request of my 3 year old) and Sweet Potato Fries
Friday- Breakfast for dinner
Lunches- leftovers, soup, mac and cheese
Breakfast- Oatmeal, Cereal, Eggs, Banana Bread

Kroger Deals- 8/2
Here are a few Kroger highlights this week. I'll probably sit out this time around. The P&G deal is running again which will make for some cheap personal or home items. You can check out a full list here. I pulled from our local weekly ad so if you live in another area be sure to check your ad before running out the door since deals are regional (especially meat and produce)
A few things to remember about Kroger:
- Most stores double coupons with a face value of up to $.50
- You only have to buy 1 item in a B1G1 deal. If you decide to buy both, you can use 2 coupons.
- Be sure to get your loadable coupons before you go. These load on your Kroger card and you can use this in conjunction with your paper coupons for even better savings! Cellfire, P&G, and Shortcuts

Birthday Fun, Kroger Matchups, and More
What a GREAT week! Around here, we like to celebrate birthdays all week long, and that is exactly what we did. (oh soooo much cake!) I was surrounded by friends and family all week.. couldn't have been better! My posts were a little more sporadic with all the celebrating, but I'm back now.
I have some awesome recipe ideas, money saving tips and even a new challenge that I have started in our home... Can't wait to share! I'm going to spend time with my sweet family this afternoon and I'll be back tomorrow with Kroger match ups and other goodies. Publix Penny Item- Sunday and Monday
The Publix Penny Item for 8/2 and 8/3 is:

You are eligible to receive the penny item when your total hits $10 before you hand over your coupons. Many of our local stores do not require that you take the penny item coupon (found in the weekly Sunday ad), but I have heard change is happening in a few places, so take the coupon just in case.
